Routine Responsibilities
1. Conduct Inventory Cost Analysis and Reconciliation
. Perform monthly cost fluctuation analysis post-closing to identify material and unit cost variances.
. Reconcile inventory GL account balances against inventory listings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
2. Manage Inventory Costing and Valuation
. Post inventory cost adjustments via item journal entries and ensure accurate integration with the general ledger.
. Review and validate the inventory valuation report to ensure correct costing method application and asset recognition.
. Perform periodic unit cost review by item and execute revaluation journal entries as necessary.
3. Monitor Stock Movement and Availability
. Review item availability and perform daily open statement postings for accurate stock movement tracking.
. Analyze and validate meal planning data and item journals from production and warehouse operations for completeness and accuracy.
4. Reconcile Supplier and Vendor Statements
. Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliation to ensure timely and accurate recording of goods received and invoiced.
Ad-Hoc Responsibilities
1. Execute Inventory Adjustments and Corrections
. Investigate and adjust inventory balance discrepancies as needed based on reconciliation results or audit findings.
2. Coordinate Inventory-Related Transactions with Operations
. Follow up with stores and central production/warehouse (CP/CW) to monitor and expedite Purchase Order (PO) receipt.
. Monitor Transfer Order (TO) release and receipt between CP/CW and stores, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Job Requirements
. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field(ACCA or Master Degree are preferred)
. Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in inventory control, cost accounting, or inventory reconciliation.
. Prior experience in the food & beverage, retail, or manufacturing sector is highly preferred.
. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
. Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, LS Retail, or similar inventory/accounting systems.
. Strong understanding of inventory movement, valuation, and costing methods (Standard, Weighted Average).
. Familiarity with inventory processes in production, warehouse, and retail operations.
. Good knowledge of stock adjustments, item journal entries, and general ledger integration.
. Good command of both Khmer and English (written and spoken).
. High attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness in reporting.
. Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
. Ability to work under pressure and meet monthly closing deadlines.
. Strong ethics, integrity, and accountability in handling financial data.
