Painting Technician
Job Description
Painting & Body Repair (Major Responsibility):
Perform sanding, priming, masking, and refinishing of vehicle surfaces.
Mix and apply paint, ensuring color matching and high-quality finish.
Conduct bodywork repairs, including dent removal, panel alignment, and surface refinishing.
Use appropriate tools and equipment, including spray guns, buffers, and drying ovens.
Inspect completed paint jobs for defects and touch up as necessary.
Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals, paints, and equipment.
Reforming & Structural Repair:
Assess structural damage and recommend repair solutions.
Perform panel replacement, welding, and frame straightening as needed.
Work with the building team to ensure proper materials and techniques are used for body repair.
Conduct tests, diagnostics, and calibrations to verify repair integrity.
Job Requirement
- Experience in automotive repair, painting, and bodywork (preferred).
- Knowledge of painting techniques, refinishing materials, and vehicle body repair.
- Ability to use repair tools, painting equipment, and diagnostic devices.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently in a team.
