Job Description
•Develop, manage, and monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion of manufacturing targets.
•Track and evaluate daily production progress, addressing delays or issues proactively to meet deadlines.
•Analyze, improve, and maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM) and routing structures to reflect current production needs and engineering changes.
•Coordinate and manage outsourcing vendors, ensuring alignment in production quality, timelines, and cost.
•Review and optimize BOM routing processes to improve workflow efficiency and reduce waste.
•Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability aligns with production plans.
•Implement process improvement initiatives in line with Lean Manufacturing or Kaizen principles to increase operational efficiency.
•Generate and interpret production performance reports, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
•Maintain and ensure accurate data in the ERP or MRP system related to production planning and material requirements.
•Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all production planning activities.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
• More than 3 years in production management
• Experience using JDE or SAP systems is plus (JDE preferred)
• Experience in investigating drawings
• Ability to take prompt actions and develop recurrence prevention plans through failure analysis
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in Chinese is a plus
