Chinese Translator
Job Description
– Translate production-related documents, manuals, and instructions from Chinese to Khmer/English and vice versa.
– Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, training sessions, and on-site production activities.
– Assist Chinese-speaking managers and engineers in communicating with local staff.
– Support the onboarding and training of new employees by translating materials and instructions.
– Ensure translation accuracy, especially in technical and operational contexts.
– Collaborate with HR and other departments to support cross-functional communication.
– Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language, Translation, or related field.
- Proven experience as a translator/interpreter, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Excellent command of Chinese (Mandarin), Khmer, and English (spoken and written).
- Strong understanding of production processes and terminology is a plus.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
