Senior Officer, Infrastructure and Systems

Job Description

Systems Administration:
– Support Linux operating systems including setup, configuration, hardening, patching and troubleshooting;
– First and second level Support for Linux Systems;
– Create, refresh, patch, upgrade, tune and monitor systems Environments documenting/amending related processes as necessary;
– Oversee all integrations/interfacing aspects between Windows and Linux Systems ensuring compliance of solution with Amret’s technology
landscape and long term plans;
– Hardware/software configuration and management on all Windows based platforms ensuring high quality and availability of services;
– Perform and verify patching, updates, and system hardening on assigned systems, and document results.
Data center management:
– Monitor the healthy of data center operation
– Data Center proactive maintenance to ensure 24/7 uptime
– Support coordination with vendors and facilities during preventive maintenance and incident handling, providing technical assistance.
Disaster Recovery:
– Perform system failure analysis and recovery ensuring consistency and integrity of underlying data;
– Perform Capacity, Disaster Recovery & Business continuity planning and be responsible for the technology side related activities.
Systems Performance Monitoring:
– Conduct system security audits and reviews and take related corrective actions;
– Monitor system and network availabilities KPIs and report on exceptions while initiating corrective actions.
