Supervisor, Network and Performances Management

Job Description

Network services management:
– Be proactive in monitoring WAN/LAN connectivity, security and device utilization as well as reporting and taking action to eliminate
or minimize functional area risks;
– Backup system configurations and recovery options for devices and applications;
– Follow agreed rules on request for changes to security devices and firewall policies to prevent surprise issues and security gaps in
Amret’s IT infrastructure;
Network design, standards and procedures:
– Manage, design, implement, deploy and optimize highly available IT infrastructure and associated support services, including
networks, telecommunications, telephony (VOIP, PABX), security and systems applications, ensuring compliance with agreed SLAs;
– Drive and manage the network infrastructure, security design process, service standardization and service optimization, and define
roadmaps for leveraging emerging technologies;
– Develop, implement and document network-related processes and procedures and IT business continuity and recovery plans,
adhering to information security and ISO standards and coaching the network team on procedures;
– Reviews and verifies network designs against non-functional requirements, including validation and error correction procedures,
access, security and audit controls.
Network projects:
– Specifies design parameters for network connectivity, capacity, speed, interfacing, security and access, in line with business
requirements.
– Manage proof-of-concepts for network-related projects to validate technical propositions and submit results to Head of IT
Infrastructure and Operations or other related stakeholders.
