Job Description
– Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
– Implement inventory management strategies, guidelines and processes to ensure inventory is planned at optimal level to meet target turns
– Consolidate and forecast inventory requirements with Sales, Operations and Finance
– Monitor and track stock movements into and between the warehouses to maintain optimal stockholding
– Supervise the inventory system updates to ensure the accuracy of inventory records between material requirements planning (MRP) and actual levels
– Analyze inventory turnover and focus on minimizing both shortages and cost of inventory
– Prepare and consolidate inventory reports and KPIs to measure the service level and progress against inventory KPIs
– Review efficiency of current processes and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs
– Build and maintain good relationships with internal team on inventory operations
Job Requirements
- Minimum three to five years’ experience in a similar role
- Diploma/certificate in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of inventory planning methodologies and systems
- Demonstrate basic understanding of distribution centers, distribution and transport
- Proven experience in inventory management , procurement systems and logistics operations
- Demonstrate working knowledge of SAP - material requirements planning (MRP) system
-Proven experience in the consumer goods, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries
- Demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in international/cross-cultural interactions
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
