The Homeroom Teacher serves the point contact students parents a specific class. teacher responsible fostering supportive inclusive classroom environment, delivering academic instruction across assigned subjects, monitoring student progress, promoting students’ social, emotional, behavioral development.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Teaching Learning
– Plan, prepare, deliver engaging age-appropriate lessons by school’s curriculum.
– Use variety teaching strategies accommodate different learning styles abilities.
– Assess report student progress regularly through tests, projects, observations.
– Integrate technology hands-on into lessons where appropriate.
– Maintain organized stimulating classroom environment.

Student & Well-being
– Monitor support academic, social, emotional of students the class.
– Implement classroom management strategies promote positive learning environment.
– Foster students’ sense responsibility, respect, cooperation, independence.

Communication Collaboration
– Maintain regular communication parents about student progress, classroom activities, any concerns.
– Conduct parent-teacher conferences contribute student reports.
– Collaborate other teachers, school staff support student learning development.

Administrative Supervisory Duties
– Maintain accurate attendance records student files.
– Supervise students during recess, lunch, assemblies, school events required.
– Participate school events, meetings, professional activities.

Parent–Teacher Conference (PTC)
– Prepare academic progress reports behavioral notes each student.
– Share students’ strengths, areas improvement, next steps.
– Communicate subject teachers gather feedback students.
– Maintain professionalism, active listening, constructive feedback during PTC.
– Record parent concerns ensure follow-up actions taken.

Class Decoration
– Plan and maintain welcoming engaging classroom environment.
– Ensure decorations reflect current units/themes, seasonal events, school culture.
– Display student regularly boost motivation pride.
– Keep classroom boards (bulletin boards, subject boards) updated organized.
– Ensure decorations safe, neat, age-appropriate.
– Collaborate students involve in classroom decoration.
