Job Purpose/SummaryThe
ICT Teacher responsible teaching computer science digital literacy students various grade levels. role includes developing lesson plans, delivering engaging instructional content, assessing student performance, integrating technology into teaching across curriculum.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Teaching & Instructional Duties
– Teach ICT subjects including computer fundamentals, typing, coding (e.g., Scratch, Python), Microsoft Office, internet safety, responsible digital citizenship.
– Design age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum.
– Provide hands-on experience with hardware and software.
– Use diverse instructional strategies and tools (e.g., project-based learning, smart boards, learning
management systems).

Curriculum and Assessment
– Develop and maintain up-to-date teaching materials and resources.
– Create assessments (quizzes, exams, projects) and provide regular feedback.
– Analyze student performance data to adjust instruction accordingly.
– Participate in curriculum reviews and updates.

Classroom and Technology Management
– Ensure the ICT lab and equipment are well maintained, functional, and secure.
– Guide students in proper care and ethical use of schooltechnology.
– Assist in the integration of ICT in other subjects or departments if needed.

Professional Development and Collaboration
– Participate in teacher training and professional development workshops is required
– Collaborate with other teachers on interdisciplinary projects.
– Stay updated with current trends and best practices in ICT education.
– Participation in school activities, including eld trips, events, and assemblies, is required.
– Perform other related duties as assigned by the management.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in or Higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related eld

WORK HISTORY:
- Teaching experience, preferably in an ICT or computer science role for 1 to 3 years as a minimum

 SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
General & Technical Skills
- Teaching certicate or license (preferred but not always required depending on the institution).
- Experience in using digital learning platforms or educationaltechnology tools.
- Strong knowledge of computers, operating systems, software applications (e.g., MS Oce, Google
Workspace), and basic programming.
- Familiarity with digitalteaching tools (e.g., Google Classroom, Moodle, Microsoft Teams).
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Soft Skills
- Ability to teach students from dierent grade levels and learning abilities.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Creative and enthusiastic approach to education.
