Job Description
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for automotive components and assemblies.
• Lead process design and validation for new product launches and engineering changes.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve process-related issues.
• Conduct time studies, layout planning, and workflow analysis to improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO/TS 16949).
• Support implementation of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies.
• Prepare technical documentation, process instructions, and training materials.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering within the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, tooling, and automation.
• Experience with process validation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with automotive industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO/IATF 16949)
• Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments
Required Skills:
• Process design and optimization
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma tools
• CAD and simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, FlexSim)
• Statistical analysis and problem-solving (e.g., FMEA, 8D, SPC)
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
• Technical documentation and process mapping
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with ICE, electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing or advanced automotive technologies
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing systems
• Certification in Six Sigma, Lean, or PMP
• Familiarity with MES and ERP systems
• Multilingual capabilities for global collaboration
Working Conditions:
• Full-time, on-site role with occasional travel.
