Job Description
The Accountant responsible for the accurate and timely management of all daily, weekly, and monthly accounting activities. The role ensures the records are correctly booking and timely
• Record all daily sales, cash receipts, and expenses.
• Process journal entries, adjustments, and ensure accurate financial data entry
• Reconcile cash and credit card payments from the Point of Sale (POS) system with bank deposits.
• Track inventory usage and record incoming stock deliveries.
• Categorize all daily expenses accurately.
• Review vendor invoices and schedule payments.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Perform monthly physical inventory counts and valuation.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and balance sheets.
• Review all accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including sales and employment taxes, and set aside estimated tax payments
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and office administration
• Experience in a restaurant, F&B or FMCG industry is advantage
• Proficiency with any accounting system, POS and Office suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Good command of English, Chinese is optional
