Job Description

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in overseeing all daily operations of the retail mart. This position is responsible for driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing store environment
• Daily operation: Assist the Store Manager in managing all aspects of the store, including sales, inventory, and cash handling procedures.
• Follow and enforce store policies, security measures and customer service standards.
• Staff supervision: Help train, and supervise a team of sales associates
• Customer service: Ensure the store team provides consistently exceptional customer service. Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally to improve quality of service
• Inventory and merchandising: Monitor inventory levels, oversee stock takes, and manage the replenishment of products.
• Ensure that all products are properly tagged and labeled.
• Sale: work to achieve and exceed sales and profitability targets.
• Setup product displays in store entrance and other sections according to merchandising standards
• Administrative tasks: Keep the Store safety by dealing with Cleaning, security guard company and/or local authority matters
• Market Trending: Site visit and/or research on trending over competitors

Job Requirements
• At least, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or related field. Higher degree would be a challenge
• A minimum of 3-5years of experience in retail, mart or convenient store
• At least 2 years of Supervisor or Assistant manager experience
• Good command of English, Chinese is a plus
• Excellent negotiation skill, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Computer literacy: Ms. Office, POS. CRM or Accounting system knowledge is an advantage
• Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving and communication skills
