• Propose and develop sampling criteria for department head validation and create data extraction tools from loan records to facilitate efficient selection;
• Develop and implement credit control policies, ensuring that internal rules and methodology guides are fully complies;
• Propose and develop new actions or tasks to strengthen the credit control framework or improve the credit control culture;
• Collaborate with Sales, HR, Finance, and Legal teams to streamline processes and resolve operational issues;
• Perform monthly data sampling and reviews to monitor credit activities, identify discrepancies, and proactively mitigate credit risks;
• Conduct monthly controls through loan file audits, client verification calls, on-site visits, and meetings with regional management;
• Consolidate issued findings into management reports, identifying trends such as rising Non-Performing Loans;
• Follow up and lead to develop too tracking the non-compliance policy, issue with implement and propose to be improved;
• Monitor market trends, competitor practices, and macroeconomic changes that may lead to an increase in non-performing loans;
• Drive innovation using advanced analytics, alternative credit data;
• Conduct follow-ups and provide coaching/training to enhance staff capabilities;
• Conduct field visits to regional and branch offices to ensure policy alignment and operational efficiency.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or a related field;
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the banking or MFI industry in a credit management role, including at least 3 years specialized in Credit Control or Audit functions;
• Well-versed in retail banking, with strong understanding of digital products;
• Advanced in reporting tool development, data analysis, and providing strategic recommendations;
• Good communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively;
• Computer Literacy;
• Good verbal and written communication both Khmer and English.
