– Responsible for routine activities in procurement of incumbent categories
– Check and verify purchase requisitions from departments for accuracy and completeness.
– Establish and sustain a reliable supplier base through comprehensive market research and strategic partnerships.
– Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that vendors adhere to established product and service specifications.
– Proactively identify and manage supplier risks and opportunities to secure favorable terms and conditions.
– Create and implement procurement plans for existing and new product categories to analyze supplier proposals and perform cost evaluations to ensure competitive pricing.
– Facilitate contract preparation, manage approval workflow, and ensure timely renewal or updates.
– Lead negotiations to secure the best terms for pricing, delivery, and quality in alignment with company policies.
– Ensure contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements, tracking compliance throughout the contract lifecycle.
– Maintain up-to-date procurement statuses of Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP and ensure timely tracking until goods or services are delivered to the user department.
– Prepare detailed procurement reports to monitor spending, supplier performance, and contract status.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to drive collaboration, improve efficiency, and support continuous improvement Align with business requirements.
– Conduct performance evaluations and manage feedback loops with suppliers to ensure suppliers meet quality and service standards.
Job Requirements
Ideal candidates who we believe would be successful in this role:
- Bachelor of Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or Equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement, and strategic sourcing, preferably within FMCG or a similar high-paced environment is highly preferred.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems for procurement processes and data tracking.
- Experience in conducting supplier cost analysis, market research, and data-driven decision-making and optimizing procurement efficiency.
- Experience in procurement contracts management process, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, and managing contract lifecycles.
- Proficient in using advanced Excel functions, data analysis tools, and reporting software.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and negotiating skills effectively.
- Proficiency in English or other languages is a significant advantage.
