Financial Planning and Analysis Supervisor (ISI Building Solutions)

*Job Objective:
To oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions to support strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and recommendations based on data-driven analysis with a strong understanding of project-based accounting and cost control.
*Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning & Budgeting
• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with other departments such as project departments, operation department, sale department, procurement and others to gather input and validate assumptions.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and investment decisions.
2. Financial Analysis & Reporting
• Support and provide some data on rolling financial forecasts at company and project levels.
• Prepare and analyze performance vs. budget, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, group reporting, and other required reports for management.
• Conduct profitability analysis by project and product line.
3. Cost Control & Efficiency
• Monitor and analyze construction project costs and factory production expenses.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support operational efficiency initiatives.
• Work closely with procurement and operations to ensure cost alignment.
4. Strategic Support
• Support capital expenditure planning and ROI analysis for new projects or equipment.
• Evaluate financial impact of business scenarios, pricing strategies, and market trends.
• Assist in M&A evaluations, feasibility studies, and long-term financial planning.
5. Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Supervise and mentor junior analysts or finance staff.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data and reports.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with operations, engineering, and project teams
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Fluency in both Chinese and Khmer, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Proven experience in technical translation, particularly in the steel structure industry.
• Proficiency in translation tools and software, such as CAT tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy and consistency in translations.
• Strong research skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Previous experience in interpretation and knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations would be an advantage.
