The Stock Manager is responsible for overseeing all inventory management processes within an organization as well as day-to-day management of inventory. This includes tracking stock levels, receiving and dispatching goods, and performing regular stock counts to ensure that stock levels are always accurate and aligned with demand.
• Develop, implement, and manage overall inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
• Supervise, train stock controllers and other inventory staff.
• Analyze stock data, sales trends, and market demand to forecast future inventory needs.
• Work with suppliers and procurement teams to negotiate profitable purchase prices, place orders, and ensure timely delivery.
• Generate detailed reports on inventory performance, discrepancies, and turnover rates for senior management.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of inventory records and compliance with company policies.
• Ensure proper storage, organization, and safety procedures within the warehouse or stockroom
• Monitor daily stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle checks, reconciling any discrepancies with system records.
• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, comparing them against purchase orders.
• Update inventory management systems to ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Manage stock storage, including organizing, boxing, and tagging items
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Management, or a related fields
• At least 5 years of experience in a warehouse, retail, or inventory role with minimum 2 year with previous supervisory experience
• Proficiency with Inventory management system, ERP, POS and Office suite. Another data analysis tools knowledge is an advantage
• Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving and communication skills
• Good command of English, Chinese is a plus
