Job Description
The Coffee Shop Manager is responsible for managing the overall operations of the coffee shop to ensure excellent customer service, high product quality, and efficient store performance. The role involves supervising daily activities, leading and motivating the team, and ensuring compliance with company standards and food safety regulations. The manager oversees staff scheduling, training, and performance while fostering a positive and customer-focused work environment. Responsibilities include managing inventory, placing orders, controlling costs, reducing waste, and ensuring cleanliness and equipment maintenance. The Coffee Shop Manager handles cash management, POS reconciliation, sales reporting, and works toward achieving sales targets and profitability goals. The role also requires maintaining consistent coffee quality, adhering to brand recipes and standards, training staff on brewing techniques and product knowledge, handling customer feedback and complaints professionally, and supporting promotions or new product launches. The ideal candidate has prior experience in café or food and beverage management, strong leadership and communication skills, solid knowledge of coffee operations, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
