Job Description

* Department Responsibility
The Purchase Department (PD) is responsible for developing, leading and executing plans and strategies, expediting and scheduling deliveries of materials and services to the Project Sites and Headquarters.

* The PD will work with other Departments and Project Managers to lead centralized direct and indirect sourcing and procurement efforts. This will include working with the internal stakeholders from initial need identification to final goods or service delivery to meet stakeholder needs.

* The following functions and documentary obligations are required to be performed in a timely, accurate manner to the full satisfaction and approval of (EM + Purchasing Manager).
• To maintain Supplier Database
• Capture and perform Cost Analysis based on Material Purchase History
• Market Trend Analysis for Raw Material
• Establish Terms with Suppliers, obtaining the best offer for all purchase and quality control
• Three (3) Additional Buyers’ Forecast for 2019 Expansion Plan

* Purchasing Team 2
• Preliminaries/ Temp. Works Contract & Purchase
• Structural Works Contract & Purchase
• MEP (Preliminaries/Temp Works, sanitary, plumbing & firefighting system, Vertical * Transport system, other sub system as assigned
• Administrative Purchase

* Buyer Job Description:
• To obtain quotation for all Material purchase
• To contact and negotiate with Suppliers on Quotation obtained for better pricing and commercial terms
• Assist Purchasing Managers for above scope for Team 2

* Principal Role and Responsibilities
• Prepare and handle Department and Section work.
• Filing, typing, documentation
• Act as support staff for the Department.

* Authorities
• Under HOD / Immediate Supervisor’s guidance, to follow, process and execute all instructions on Departmental roles / functions.
• Assist and work with the assigned Department as a Team, constantly coordinating, communicating and discussing.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management or relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchasing
• Good in spoken and written in English.
• Computer Literate: Microsoft Office & Internet.
• Be honest and responsible towards the job.
• Willing to work hard and be flexible on timings.

Work Conditions
• Candidate will work both in a temperature-controlled office environment and in the field with exposure to varying degrees of weather conditions while visiting re-construction job sites and structures or doing field investigations/research.
• Must be physically, mentally and emotionally able to perform the essential functions of the job.
